Terms and conditions

These terms govern purchases at coffeaproject.com, a store operated by Juan José Aristizábal, responsible for Coffea Project, with identification pending update and based at Cra. 108 #42-34, 904 t4, Cali, Valle del Cauca 760030, Colombia.

When completing a domestic purchase, the consumer declares that they have received sufficient information about the product, price, taxes, shipping cost, availability, payment method, delivery time and applicable policies. International orders follow the separate shipping-quotation process below.

International orders

International product prices differ from Colombian domestic prices. All prices and checkout payments are in Colombian pesos (COP). International shipping is not included in the checkout payment. After you provide your address and country and place your order, we will contact you with available shipping options, costs and estimated delivery times. We will dispatch only after you approve and pay for a shipping option. If delivery is not possible, or you decline the quote, we will cancel and refund the amount paid for your order. Domestic free-shipping promotions and subscription shipping benefits apply only within Colombia.

Products and information

We aim to keep descriptions, prices and images clear and current. Coffee and packaging images are illustrative; minor variations may arise from the product, lot or display used.

Coffees are initially sold in 250 g bags. Tasting notes describe an expected sensory experience and may vary with grind, water, brewing method and other factors. They do not guarantee identical perceptions for everyone.

Availability is confirmed during the purchase process. If a product becomes unavailable after payment, we will inform the buyer immediately so they can choose, where possible, a new date, an expressly accepted alternative or a refund.

Prices and payments

Prices are shown in Colombian pesos and include applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise. Domestic shipping costs are stated separately before purchase completion. International shipping is quoted and paid separately under the process above.

Payments are processed through the enabled methods, including Mercado Pago Checkout Pro where available. We do not offer cash on delivery for website purchases.

Coffea Project may reject or cancel a transaction in the event of an obvious pricing error, unavailability, reasonable suspicion of fraud or inability to process payment. If payment has already been collected, the corresponding refund will be arranged.

Order confirmation

Automatic receipt of an order does not imply final acceptance where payment is pending, there is a manifest error or availability is lacking. A purchase is considered confirmed once payment and availability have been verified. International dispatch also requires agreement and payment of the separate shipping quote.

Shipping

Preparation, rates, delivery times and conditions are governed by the Shipping policy. The buyer is responsible for providing complete and correct delivery information.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions ship during the first week of each month. New subscribers begin receiving products the following month unless a different date is stated during purchase.

Subscribers may receive coffees not yet available in the catalog and other exclusive products. Contents may vary according to the chosen option and stated availability. Subscription shipping is included within Colombia; international shipping is quoted separately.

Price, frequency, contents, renewal, payment method and cancellation or modification procedures will be stated before subscribing. Cancellation prevents future charges when requested within the stated operational deadline. It does not affect orders already processed, without prejudice to consumers’ legal rights.

Returns and consumer rights

Withdrawal, warranty, payment reversal, returns and refunds are governed by the Returns policy and Colombian law. Nothing in these terms limits consumers’ non-waivable rights.

Site use and intellectual property

Coffea Project’s visual content, texts, illustrations, trademarks, logos and other proprietary elements are protected by applicable rules. You may consult the site for personal and purchasing purposes. Reproduction, exploitation or commercial use of its content without permission is not authorized.

Users agree not to interfere with the site’s security or operation, introduce malicious code, make fraudulent purchases or use false information or third-party information without authorization.

Personal data

Personal-data processing is governed by the Privacy and personal data policy. Payment, delivery and other third-party services may also be subject to those providers’ own policies.

Requests and complaints

For inquiries, requests or complaints, email hola@coffeaproject.com with the order number and a clear description. We will send an acknowledgment that allows the case to be tracked.

Consumer-protection authority

Consumers can find information and contact channels for the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce at www.sic.gov.co. The final implementation will include a visible, easily identifiable link to Colombia’s consumer-protection authority.

Applicable law

These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any invalid or unenforceable provision is treated as severed without affecting the remaining provisions. Disputes will be handled by the competent authorities, respecting consumer mechanisms and rights.

Changes

We may update these terms to reflect legal or operational changes. The version applicable to a purchase is the one available when the order was confirmed, except for mandatory legal changes.
